Rated five-stars, our vintage family-run three hundred year old tearoom and beautiful tea garden is situated in the middle of Cheddar Gorge. Stunning views can be enjoyed of the gorge and local wildlife. Freshly prepared food and homemade cream teas are a specialty – we even have gluten free scones!

We cater for vegans, sell many gluten-free options and allow dogs inside the tea rooms and gardens, so if you are walking your dog in Cheddar Gorge feel free to stop by and come on in, in any weather.

We have a wide menu, and a selection of fresh cakes – we are famous for our Cheddar cheese ice cream as well as dozens of other flavours of luxury ice cream from local ice cream makers Granny Gothards – including vegan ice cream, and even dog icecream! All of our ice cream is gluten free.
